We are pleased to announce that on May 30, 2011 (several days early!), Nutmeg gave birth to:

"Greenleaf" (Leaf), a little red boy, was born 6:00-6:30 PM, weighing 10.1 oz.

"Zealand Falls" (Zeal), a little red boy, was born 6:00-6:30 PM, weighing 7.9 oz.

"Galehead" (Gale), a little black and tan girl, was born 6:35 PM, weighing 8.0 oz.

"Madison Spring" (Madison), a little red (possibly red sesame) girl, was born at 8:00 PM, weighing 8.4 oz.

"Carter Notch" (Carter), a little black and tan boy, was born at 8:40 PM, weighing 7.8 oz.

Our Nutmeg (the Mom) is beautiful, good-natured, athletic Shiba with the potential to excel in any discipline. She is OFA Good and CERF Clear with normal patellas (CHIC). She is pointed towards her AKC Championship and has done a little bit of agility and rally-o training. The Daddy is our James, who is a remarkably talented and accomplished young Shiba! James has earned High in Trial awards in Agility, Rally-O, and Obedience, has earned trophies at the 2010 CPE Agility Nationals and at the 2008 TDAA Agility Nationals, and was an all-breed "Top Ten" ranked Agility dog in CPE Agility in 2009. In addition to his Agility and Obedience accomplishments, James has earned his "CGC", is a certified Therapy Dog (registered with TDI), has shown great potential as a tracking dog, is pointed towards his AKC Championship, and is, most importantly, one of the most even tempered Shibas I have ever met. James is OFA Good, and CERF Clear with normal patellas (CHIC). This is a repeat breeding of our 2010 litter, so these pups will be full siblings to Zoe, River, Kaylee, Kazuki, and Cinnamon.
