Puppy Pictures: the fifth week!
May 1 - May 7 (most recent pictures first)
This week, we miraculously gained a "sixth puppy" in our current litter! I had foolishly thought that I was blessed with 5 Shiba puppies and 1 Siamese kitten, but I am assured by all six youngsters that I am wrong, and that all six are, in fact, puppy siblings. Since I learned long long ago never to argue with Shibas (or with Siamese), please welcome Sisu, perhaps the funniest looking Shiba puppy ever, to the litter. (My adult cat and all of my adult dogs are absolutely horrified by the situation.)

The wild puppies have been collared! In the right photo, from left to right, that is Roy in black, Rebecca in pink, Keeley in yellow, Coach in blue, and Ted in green.

Ted and Sisu are particularly good buddies.

Elf is not very fond of puppies, but unlike Sisu, he is a dignified fellow and he does a nice job teaching the pups to have some respect for cats.
