Puppy Pictures: the ninth week!

May 29 - June 4

Leo went home on Monday with his new family, Claudia and Jason.

Quila, now River, went home on Sunday with her new family, Lauren and Ken, and "big brother" Fawkes.

Cassie, now Riley, went home on Saturday with her new family, Una and Keith, and "big sister" (actually, her great Aunt from our 2001 litter) Ruby.

Puppy Pictures: after the Ninth Week

Perseus is still here with us. All puppies have their strengths, and I think the pups from this particular breeding have been especially nice. There is no such thing as an all-round perfect puppy, but I do believe that it is not uncommon for a puppy to be perfect for a particular person/family/situation. Percy is probably the closest I've yet found to a "perfect" pup for my family and interests, so, in spite of our best intentions, and in spite of the fact that the timing is far from ideal for him to become a permanent member of our family, he is staying with us.

Hiking with extended family at Great Brook State Park in MA. Of course, being only 9 weeks old, Percy was carried most of the time. (Auntie Elle happily volunteered for the job).

Stopping for ice cream at the end of the day - that's one happy, tired out pup! (And a happy, not-so-tired-out Diamond).
